Role Overview
The Fluid Systems Engineer supports activities within the Fluid Systems team, including:
* Producing, reviewing, and updating system documentation for mechanical and thermo-hydraulic design, operator instructions, HMI, safety, environmental, and control logic, in line with engineering standards.
* Analyzing and defining I&C functional requirements, including writing functional requirements, detailed functional diagrams, FTP specifications, and analyzing FTP results.
* Mechanical design tasks such as sizing components, performing thermal-hydraulic calculations, ensuring 3D model consistency, and formulating equipment specifications.
* Supporting procurement with technical specifications and surveillance of supplier documentation.
* Engaging with stakeholders to ensure system delivery meets multidisciplinary requirements.
* Contributing to best practices, innovation, process improvements, and knowledge sharing within the discipline.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
* Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree or equivalent
* 3-5 years' experience in process engineering
* Relevant experience in the nuclear industry
* Ability to manage workload effectively and produce high-quality documentation
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English
* Proactive in communication, especially with remote teams in France and Germany
* Focus on continuous improvement in engineering quality and documentation
Desirable Skills
* Knowledge of EPR system design principles, I&C architecture, and Safety Classification
* Experience working on operational plants or industrial sites
* Ability to read/write technical documents in French
