Job Title: Registered Nurse - University Hospital Monklands
NHS Lanarkshire is seeking to recruit a Registered Nurse based at University Hospital Monklands.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing care needs, developing, implementing, and evaluating care programmes to ensure high-quality patient care. The role requires performing all relevant care duties independently, supervising registered and unregistered staff, and demonstrating procedures as needed.
Note: Duties may vary depending on the ward/department and patient dependency levels.
Additional Responsibilities (Post 2 Years Registration)
The Registered Nurse will oversee and coordinate the work of other staff within the ward or department to promote best practices. In the absence of senior staff, the post holder will provide leadership to ensure effective ward/department operation.

Requirements
* Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
* Excellent team working, initiative, and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team
* Basic IT skills
Contract Details
Fixed-term or secondment for 12 months. Full-time, 37 hours/week. Applicants on secondment must have written approval from their line manager.
Location
Ward 12, University Hospital Monklands. Applicants may be considered for similar roles in other locations.
