Vehicle Technician
Location: Gloucestershire
Salary: A GBP 35,000 : A GBP 40,000 per annum + Bonus and Benefits
Contract: Permanent
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 : 17:30 (No weekends or bank holidays)
Are you a qualified Vehicle Technician looking to join a modern, fast:growing independent garage? We are seeking Level 2, 3 or 4 qualified technicians to join a busy, AA and RAC approved workshop and DVSA approved MOT centre in Gloucestershire.

You will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of cars and light commercial vehicles, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities of the Vehicle Technician:
Servicing and Repairs
* Repair and service a wide range of cars and light commercial vehicles.
* Carry out routine maintenance including inspections, brake work, and servicing.
* Complete MOT preparation and rectification work.
MOT Testing
* Conduct MOT testing (Class 4, 5 and 7 where qualified).
* Identify and communicate required repairs following MOT inspections.
Diagnostics and Fault Finding
* Use diagnostic equipment to accurately identify vehicle faults.
* Carry out efficient and effective repairs to minimise vehicle downtime.
Breakdowns and Support
* Respond to vehicle breakdowns where required.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure timely job completion.
Compliance and Documentation
* Complete all relevant vehicle records and worksheets accurately.
* Maintain high standards of health and safety and workshop housekeeping.
The Vehicle Technician were looking for:
* Level 2, 3 or 4 qualified Vehicle Technician.
* Experience working on Light Commercial Vehicles (essential).
* MOT Tester qualification (Class 4, 5 and 7 desirable but not essential).
* Strong diagnostic and fault:finding skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
