Our client, a leading property developer, is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead and coordinate technical design and delivery across multiple residential and mixed-use projects. About the Role: As Technical Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in bridging design, planning, and construction. Reporting directly to the Senior Management, you'll oversee the technical aspects of developments from pre-construction through to handover, ensuring that designs are deliverable, compliant, and cost-effective. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and coordinate all technical information across residential/mixed-use schemes. * Manage design consultants and ensure timely production of drawings and specifications. * Work closely with planning, commercial, and site teams to ensure smooth delivery. * Resolve technical and construction issues swiftly and effectively. * Ensure compliance with building regulations, NHBC standards, and internal quality benchmarks. * Attend design and coordination meetings, both internal and external. Requirements: * Proven experience in a Technical Manager or Design Manager role within residential construction or development. * Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and planning processes. * Experience working with consultants, architects, and main contractors. * Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. * HNC/HND or degree in construction, architecture, or engineering preferred.
