Role Overview:
As an Electrician within the solar installation team, you will be responsible for carrying out AC electrical work on a range of solar PV installations. You will work closely with the Installation Manager, fellow Electricians, and Solar Panel Installers to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. The role includes commissioning systems and maintaining accurate documentation via the company's NICEIC portal.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform AC electrical installations for solar PV systems on residential and small commercial projects
* Commission solar inverters and battery storage systems
* Accurately document all electrical work using the company NICEIC portal
* Diagnose and resolve electrical faults where required
* Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards
* Collaborate with the wider installation team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Essential
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* Full UK driving license
Desirable
- Solar PV / renewables experience- 2391 Inspection & Testing
