An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Stairlift Stock Support Manager in our Stairlift Stock department. Reporting to the Senior Stairlift Stock Control & Development Manager, you will be able to work accurately and prioritise work effectively.
You will be welcomed by a close-knit, friendly and committed team who will fully support and guide you through your training (full training will be provided in-house on all products and procedures for the successful candidates). What will your responsibilities be?
* Ordering stock and replenishing stock for multiple workshops
* Checking the valuation and costs of goods on the company purchase orders are accurate ready for processing
* Monitoring current orders and estimated despatch dates, reporting back to Stairlift Senior Manager’s
* Liaising closely with the manufactures regarding any current orders and tracking
* Booking in deliveries from multiple workshops and updating the exact stock availability
* Working with the wider ordering team to assist with warranty claims for faulty parts, arranging returns and monitoring throughout
* Arranging transportation for urgent orders to be moved around the company
* Liaising with the Workshop & Technical Manager stock counts
* Prompting engineers for their bespoke order sign offs when the Senior Manager is not present
* Keeping accurate records of the above actions with our user-friendly computer systems
What do we require from you?
* Be a committed and enthusiastic member of the Ableworld team
* Have good communication skills
* Be comfortable with basic Microsoft systems such as Excel, Word, Outlook
* Use your initiative, with excellent attention to detail
* Be prepared to liaise with suppliers directly, respond promptly, quickly and efficiently with any problems that arise.

A DBS disclosure will be required for this position (for which Ableworld will meet the cost).
