Support Worker / Live-in Carer
We are seeking experienced carers to provide high quality live-in support, helping individuals remain safe, independent and comfortable in their own homes.
Position: Support Worker / Live-in Carer
Salary: Earn up to £1,050 per week
Location: Birmingham and surrounding areas (travel required)
Hours: Full time, live-in placements (minimum 2 weeks per placement)
Contract: Self-employed
Closing Date: Ongoing
About the Role
This is a live-in care position where you will stay with clients in their homes for a minimum of two weeks at a time, delivering person-centred care and support.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing personal care and mobility support with dignity and respect
2. Supporting individuals with health conditions such as dementia, stroke or Parkinson’s
3. Managing and administering medication
4. Preparing meals and maintaining a clean, safe home environment
5. Offering companionship and emotional support
6. Supporting daily routines, appointments and social engagement
7. Living with clients during placements to ensure consistent, high quality care
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
8. A minimum of 2 years’ professional care experience in the UK
9. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
10. The right to work in the UK on a self-employed basis
11. Confidence using a smartphone for care records and communication
12. The physical ability to support mobility and personal care needs
13. A compassionate, reliable and professional approach
