Warehouse Operative (Picker) – Lates & Nights

Overview
We are recruiting warehouse operatives who will be responsible for picking orders for our shops at our distribution centre in Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire.
This is a permanent full-time position with late shifts from 14:00 to 22:00 or night shifts from 22:00 to 06:00, 5 days from 7 each week (including at least one weekend day).
Pay, working hours & benefits: We offer an hourly pay rate of £14.28 (£11.88 if you are under 21). This is a full-time position with the opportunity of overtime. In addition to pay you will also benefit from various benefits listed below.

Responsibilities
* Accurately and quickly pick stock onto pallets ready for delivery to shops.
* Keep accurate records.
* Carry out general maintenance and cleaning of the warehouse.
* Work within the health and safety requirements of the site.
Requirements
* To be physically fit as this is a demanding role and you will be expected to achieve productivity targets.
* A friendly, positive, hardworking approach to work.
* Although it is not essential, if you have experience of working in a warehouse environment or experience working with manual handling equipment then let us know about it in your application.
