Role Overview
As a Formulation Technologist at the No7 Beauty Company, you will be responsible for delivering formulation activities to support the Brand's 3-year plans. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and third parties to ensure the plan meets consumer, category, and brand requirements.
You will work within a team of technical experts to develop new formulations for a specific Category/Brand, ensuring delivery within agreed time, cost, and QSR standards.

Key Responsibilities
1. Utilize your scientific and technical formulation expertise to develop formulations from concept to manufacturing scale-up, ensuring right-first-time delivery.
2. Optimize specifications, challenge existing thinking, and ensure robust product design.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project activity plans and ensure formulation work plans are executed.
4. Maintain high standards for data quality and accuracy, and prepare all necessary technical documentation.
5. Conduct due diligence checks and manage formulation-related technical risks effectively.
6. Travel locally and internationally to support manufacturing and scale-up processes.
Qualifications and Skills
* A scientific degree or relevant qualification, ideally in Chemistry or Formulation Science.
* Formulation experience, preferably within the Skincare category.
* Excellent knowledge of raw materials, formulation technologies, and technical IP requirements.
* Understanding of the value chain and manufacturing processes.
* Strong project management skills and ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
