With a large fleet of over 100 company-owned vehicles operating across the UK and Europe, this role offers the opportunity to be part of a busy, supportive team responsible for high standards of service and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: * Plan and coordinate vehicle movements for tanker collections and deliveries * Maximise vehicle and driver utilisation while adhering to schedules * Schedule vehicles for maintenance, servicing, and MOTs in line with internal requirements * Monitor live driver progress and ensure delivery performance standards are met * Provide operational support to drivers on the road, resolving issues proactively * Ensure compliance with UK and EU transport legislation, including the Working Time Directive * Input orders, update schedules, and carry out general administrative duties Candidate Requirements: * Proven experience in traffic or transport planning (ideally within tanker or Class 1 operations) * Strong knowledge of UK geography and road networks * Understanding of driver regulations, including WTD and tachograph rules * Computer literate with the ability to quickly learn transport systems * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * CPC qualification is desirable but not essential * Background in logistics, distribution, or supply chain preferred What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary, negotiable based on experience * Company pension scheme * Free on-site parking * Opportunity to join a stable, growing, and respected logistics organisation If you're ready to drive your career forward, apply today or call the office on (phone number removed) to find out more!
