IT Support Specialist

As an IT Support Specialist, you will be part of the Global IT Support team within the FDB IT Department. Your role involves providing world-class IT support by delivering correct IT solutions in a timely and user-aligned manner.
This position is responsible for the day-to-day IT support of FDB end users’ digital workplaces, proactively enhancing user experience throughout their lifecycle and minimizing business disruptions.
You will also be responsible for delivering resilient IT support services through continuous improvement of services and processes.

Role & Responsibilities
* Provide daily IT support to end users.
* Respond to all end user inquiries via phone, direct contact, and IT service management tools.
* Manage incident and service request processes using our IT service management system.
* Coordinate critical incident responses to minimize business disruption.
* Manage onboarding and offboarding of end users’ devices, resources, and access, including IT introductions.
* Procure and ensure availability of local IT equipment and manage local IT storage.
* Coordinate with global cross-functional teams to standardize and optimize support efforts.
* Collaborate with teams to support and improve IT services.
* Participate in problem management and IT knowledge sharing.
* Contribute to IT projects based on business needs.
* Participate in an on-call rotation.
Qualifications and Experience
* Strong understanding of end-user peripherals and IT Service Management frameworks and methodologies.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in stakeholder management and effective communication.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple initiatives.
* Effective written and oral communication skills.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of IT experience, preferably with IT support and end-user interaction.
* Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
