Primary Teaching Assistant Responsibilities

Support teaching and learning across KS1 and KS2.

Work alongside class teachers to deliver engaging lessons.

Provide one-to-one and small-group support.

Assist with classroom management and pupil engagement.

Help pupils develop confidence, independence and academic progress.

Support children with varying learning needs.

Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment.
Teaching Assistant Requirements
*
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school.
*
Experience supporting pupils in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*
Positive, proactive and highly motivated approach.
*
Strong classroom support skills.
*
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
*
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
