Job Title: HR AssistantLocation: East Kilbride / Office based roleSalary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum (plus bonus and benefits)Are you a proactive HR professional looking for a varied and busy role where you can truly make your mark? Our client, a well-established business in the industrial manufacturing sector, is seeking an experienced HR Assistant to support their senior leadership team with a wide range of HR responsibilities.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on, autonomous role and is eager to take ownership of day-to-day HR operations while being a key point of contact for employees across the organisation. Key Responsibilities:Recruitment & Talent SupportCoordinate job adverts, screen CVs, and manage interview schedulingCommunicate with candidates throughout the hiring processMaintain accurate records in the applicant tracking systemLiaising with recruitment agenciesOnboarding & OffboardingDeliver seamless onboarding experiences for new hiresOrganise exit interviews and manage offboarding documentationKeep employee records up-to-date and compliantEmployee RelationsBe the go-to for employee HR queries and supportAssist in handling employee concerns and escalating when neededContribute to a positive workplace culture through engagement initiativesHR Administration & ComplianceManage HR databases and prepare reports and documentationCoordinate training and development opportunitiesEnsure HR practices meet employment law and internal policiesWork closely with the company’s external HR partner on policy updates What We’re Looking For:Previous track record gained in a HR environment, ideally within manufacturing or industrial but this is not essentialStrong communication and organisational skillsHigh attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive information confidentiallySelf-starter who can manage their own workload and work effectively solo The Package:Salary: Up to £33,000 plus a performance-based bonus (paid twice yearly)Hours: 35-hour working weekMon–Thurs: 8:30–16:45, Fri: 8:30–12:30Holidays: 35 days annual leaveBenefits:Company pension schemeDeath in service benefitFree on-site parkingIf you are interested in this role, and have the right experience, please send your CV via the ‘Apply Now’ to be considered.
