(This qualifies under the Equality Act 2010 for a Female only role) Hours: PA 1; Weekend hours, Saturday, and Sunday- morning I hour, lunch 45 mins and evening 1 hour Friday morning 1 hour = 6.5 hours Hours: PA 2; Monday – Friday evening I hour call =5 hours Rates of Pay: £14.50 ph. Work Area / Location: Colwyn Bay Closing date: 27.5.25 About me: I am a young woman with health conditions that require me to spend long periods of time in the house and in bed, I am looking for 1 or 2 PA's that can help improve my quality of life and enable me to feel more engaged and enjoy life. I am flexible about times within a workable slot and easy going with a good sense of humour, I enjoy reading a variety of books including, crime fact and fiction, mythology, and history. I like films and crafts, I enjoy gaming and visiting shops, cafes and walks when well enough. A driver with a car is essential for this role. I sometimes need a little friendly prod or extra motivation, so an empathic nature and understanding of anxiety and mental health is key. There is some personal care hence the requirement for a female PA. I have a lovely gentle dog so you must be comfortable around dogs. About the Job: Female Personal Assistant/support worker required to help provide support to the female employer, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 1 hour evening calls. Holiday and sickness cover required for other PAs as necessary. Plus, Female PA for weekends and Friday morning. Saturday and Sunday morning 1 hour call. Saturday and Sunday lunch times calls- each 45 minutes. Saturday and Sunday evening 1hour calls. Friday morning 1 hour call. Holiday and sickness cover required for other PAs as necessary. Tasks and duties some food preparation, stoma care, walking and physio exercises, sometimes a little walk around the house in the evening, putting on pain patches, handing/reminding employer to take some medication, emptying and moving commode, help with washing hair and some personal care, assistance applying creams, training will be given on Stoma care. I have many and varied interests so an ability to share some of these will be useful or an interest in them. To take me out in my wheelchair when required so a driver with own car is essential for this post. To enable me to engage with things I'd like to do, visiting shops, walks, have some good company, conversation and help me to reach my full potential. Undertake any further training, as mutually agreed. Any other duties not mentioned but that fall within the scope of this role should be discussed and then mutually agreed. Person Specification To be punctual, flexible, and reliable, experience of working in a similar situation but training can be given for the right person. Establish a professional standard of care, which should be always maintained while following a high level of health and safety practice. Must have own vehicle and full clean driving licence for UK Bear in mind that the role is one of empowerment for the supported person.
