Job Description:
Community Recovery Navigator
About the role
Are you passionate about supporting people in their recovery? Do you have transferable skills and/or experience to empower people to achieve their full potential?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Community Recovery Navigator to join our highly motivated and committed Integrated Recovery team, which supports individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use issues to make positive life choices and make a real difference to our clients, their families, and the wider community, including promoting engagement with mental health services.
Our teams provide support for individuals experiencing problematic substance use. Our new recovery coordination role will ensure we provide specialist, tailored support to enable service users to make positive changes, giving us the knowledge and resources to reach and engage people with diverse needs within our communities.
The successful candidate will work within a supportive team with regular meetings, clinical supervision, and joint working. The team includes Recovery Navigators, a counselling team, psychologists, and a team manager.
* You will act as both supporter and facilitator for those in structured treatment wanting to make positive changes that help them achieve treatment goals.
* You will be responsible for recovery-focused assessment, planning, risk management, and delivering personalized interventions at all stages of treatment. You will adopt a holistic approach, ensuring every care package addresses all aspects of wellbeing, not just substance use, to achieve the best outcomes for each individual.
* You will coordinate care flexibly within a multi-disciplinary team and with partner agencies to ensure safe and effective treatment for clients.
Please note, a driving licence is required.
Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with a later shift on Thursday from 11am-7pm.
