Position Summary This role is an exciting opportunity to lead a team in a dynamic laboratory environment. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaboration is key, as you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver results. Responsibilities - Lead and manage a team of laboratory analysts, ensuring efficient operations and high performance. - Oversee testing and release of materials, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards. - Maintain an inspection-ready laboratory environment, supporting internal and external audits. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory processes and performance. - Ensure safety standards are upheld, including risk assessments and proper use of controls. - Provide training and development opportunities for team members to build capability and expertise. Qualifications/Skills Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology). - Experience working in a GMP-regulated laboratory environment. - Proven leadership experience, including managing and developing teams. - Strong understanding of laboratory methodologies and compliance processes. - Excellent organizational and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Master’s degree in a related scientific field. - Experience in a pharmaceutical or highly regulated industry. - Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies. - Familiarity with laboratory software and data integrity requirements. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands.
