Business Manager (Recruitment)

Location: Belfast

Role Overview:

As a Business Manager, you will be a high-level recruitment specialist, recognised as an expert both internally and externally. Leveraging your extensive experience, you will influence high-level clients and lead complex, strategically important assignments and accounts. Additionally, you will spearhead business development initiatives in new markets or emerging sectors.

This role sets the standard for recruitment excellence, fosters strategic client relationships, and provides thought leadership in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the delivery of complex and senior-level searches.
* Manage high-value, strategically important clients.
* Develop and grow strategic client partnerships, serving as the primary contact for key stakeholders.
* Drive business development initiatives, including exploring new markets and emerging sectors.
* Maintain exceptional client retention through outstanding service and strategic partnerships.
* Represent the company at industry events, offering thought leadership.
* Advise clients across the full spectrum of MCS service lines.
* Develop and implement best-in-class recruitment and account management processes.
* Contribute to strategy development for the business area and the entire organisation.
* Mentor and develop less experienced team members.
* Source and identify top talent for clients, ensuring quality candidate delivery even in challenging markets.

Requirements:

* Proven track record in recruitment with high-level success and industry recognition, operating at least at the Principal Recruiter level.
* Strong leadership qualities, influencing the team without direct managerial responsibilities.
* Ability to build deep, long-term relationships with senior-level client contacts, including C-level executives.
* Consultative approach, serving as a strategic advisor to clients with market insights beyond basic recruitment services.
* In-depth understanding of specialist markets, providing valuable insights to clients.
* Expertise in negotiating contracts, terms, and margins, handling intricate negotiations with senior stakeholders.
* Interest in mentoring and coaching less experienced recruiters.
