Apex Resources Ltd is currently looking for a warehouse administrator for our client based in Irvine who specializes in delivering comprehensive logistics solutions, supported by state-of-the-art warehousing facilities and bespoke contract packing services tailored to our clients' needs.


Main Purpose of the Job

The main purpose of this role is to support the efficient day-to-day operation of the warehouse by providing reliable administrative coordination across warehousing and transport activities. The position contributes to accurate stock management, and delivery processes, effective handling of stock, and consistent adherence to service, compliance, and safety standards.


Key Areas of Responsibility & Accountability

* Provide day-to-day warehouse administration support and ensure accurate process follow-up
* Maintain effective stock and inventory control, including receiving, picking, and discrepancy reporting
* Administer inbound and outbound warehouse documentation and data entry
* Coordinate transport & deliveries in line with our stock requirements
* Prepare transport documentation, labels, paperwork and delivery information
* Ensure high standards of service, compliance & safety at all times.
* Support the warehouse team and wider logistics and planning teams as required
* Support warehouse movements using material handling equipment.


Profile

* Accurate with strong attention to detail
* Positive, proactive, and eager to learn
* Self-motivated and able to remain calm under pressure
* Strong team player with good people skills
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Able to prioritise workloads effectively
* Counterbalance forklift experience required
* High level of IT proficiency (Office 365 essential; Mintsoft desirable)


Working Hours

Monday - Friday: 6.30am - 2.30pm or 8.30am - 4.30pm on a rotation.

Half hour unpaid lunch.

Pay rate: £13.45.

Please note that all applicants must be able to provide full right to work documentation, evidence of a national insurance number from an official letter from HMRC and have an active bank account in their own name for processing wages. This is in line with ISO accreditation and GLA compliance standards.
