Job summary
Were looking for a Clinical Practice Facilitator (CPF) to join our Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at The Portland Hospital, currently rated Good by the CQC and the only independent hospital in the UK entirely dedicated to women and children. The high level of specialist knowledge at The Portland is reflected in the services we provide, offering clinical expertise across Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Women`s Health.
As a Clinical Practice Facilitator, youll play an important role in enhancing the professional practice of our teams. We'll look to you to ensure the effective delivery of high-quality educational programmes for both new and existing nursing staff, collaborating or potentially leading on the development of the onboarding process for nursing.
Main duties of the job
Day-to-day youll drive educational initiatives that not only meet regulatory standards, but that elevate the standard of care we offer, using your expertise to identify practice gaps in and implementing educational activities to address them. Essential
1. RN with current NMC PIN
2. Paediatric Nursing diploma/degree
3. A post-graduation certificate in education with a recognised mentorship qualification
Desirable
4. Post Graduate Module in Practice Education
5. Train the trainer qualification desirable
