Overview
Electrical Design Engineer Up to £55k P.A Full time, permanent Nuneaton area. Applications from outside the UK will not be considered. Our client is a well-established engineering company with decades of experience delivering specialist control system design, software development, and manufacturing solutions across a wide range of industrial sectors. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to innovative projects, working within a collaborative environment that values technical expertise and creativity. Some travel to customer sites will be required during project phases.
Responsibilities
* Design electrical and control systems using EPlan Electric and EPlan Pro Panel.
* Produce technical documentation including diagrams, layouts, thermal calculations, parts lists, and safety evaluation reports.
* Generate bills of materials, labels, and reports using Excel.
* Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards (HSE/ISO).
* Work closely with project teams to deliver designs on time and to budget.
* Support manufacturing, installation, and commissioning teams both in the office and on-site.
* Conduct safety hardware validation.
* Travel to customer sites as required.
Requirements
* Experience as an electrical designer.
* Proficiency with EPlan Electric, EPlan Pro Panel, CAD or similar.
* Solid knowledge of electrical and control system components.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
* Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
* Able to work independently and collaboratively.
* Excellent communication skills.
