To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager (UK - North) to join our team. This is a field based role, specialising in the Housing Developer market, with your main responsibility being to manage and grow relationships with both regional and national customers. Working together, you will identify need and develop tailored solutions to ensure customer satisfaction. In this newly created role, you will be pivotal in the execution of our strategic aims - requiring you to take a proactive lead to drive growth in the Pre-Cast Concrete sector of our business. As our Regional Sales Manager, you will: Create and implement an outstanding Regional Sales Strategy that aligns to our overall commercial strategy. Achieve sales and profit levels in line with budget targets across specified categories, whilst ensuring first class standard of operation Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, primarily Groundworkers/Developers, and, when required contractors/other stakeholders in the construction industry Identify target markets - analyse market trends whilst evaluating potential business opportunities Create long-term value for Ibstock from customers, markets and relationships. Identify areas of new business within existing customers, including upselling and cross-selling of flooring and precast products, whilst identifying areas of improvement to meet sales and/or service levels. Develop strong ties with the leadership teams across Ibstock Concrete and the wider Group Ibstock of Companies, to support and co-ordinate with the other functional areas to positive effect. Collaborate with the wider Ibstock sales team to identify and grow cross portfolio opportunities Prepare regular reports to contribute towards forecasting functions Please note - this role does not currently have reporting headcount. In order to be successful as our Regional Sales Manager, you will be/have: Bottom line orientated with ability to push one's self and others for results, achieving these in agreed timelines Outstanding communication, presentation and influencing skills Strong numerical reasoning and analytical ability Strong entrepreneurial instincts with ability to identify and implement new ways to drive success within the business framework and strategies. Adept at facilitating connections and joint working across teams, disciplines and functions A professional communicator with good facilitation skills and a highly developed influencing style across all levels of stakeholders both internal and external. A natural change agent that can identify what is needed to drive business success, with the courage to implement Customer relationship focused and establishes effective relationships with customers and acts with customers in mind Exposure to the Housing Developer market and/or experience within the Pre-Cast Concrete sector would be advantageous, but is not essential.
