Our values: Trust, Respect, Improving and Learning, and Customer Focus We are looking for a full-time Education and Engagement Officer to work in the Waste and Recycling Service who can: Key Skills and abilities Engagement with Castle Point Borough Council Residents with regards to waste and recycling To ensure customer satisfaction within the waste and recycling service To deliver Waste projects and drive improvements to the service To promote waste and recycling at schools, public areas and events Use of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Power BI To work with Street Scene Colleagues and provide targeted engagement on issues with waste presentation or fly tipping To engage with managing agents to discuss waste related matters at their properties To work closely with the Waste Strategy, Promotions and Performance Officer. Experience Previous practical experience working within an Engagement/ Front line engagement role is essential. Any waste industry related experience is also desirable. Qualifications Applicants must hold a valid full UK driving licence.
