Opportunity Summary:
We have a vacancy for a Setter/Operator CNC Miller.
Role Accountabilities:?
* Use and control of CNC programsin accordance withrelevant procedures.
* Ability to read and understand CNC code to the levelrequiredfor machine set up and?operation.
* Understand all set up parameters and the effect that they have on the process, for example, datum setting and tool length and wear offsets.
* Set up machines with the required work holding and toolingin accordance withrelevant?procedures.
* Working as a team to maximise machine utilisation.
* Working to structured manufacturing plan.
* Responsible for setting andoperatinga 3-5 Axis CNC Milling/Turning Machines.
* Responsible for quality output.
* Responsible for Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM).
* Capable of using measuring equipment such asmicrometers, Vernier Callipers, Height Towers, Shadow Graphs, CMM etc.
Person Specification:
* 5 years experience in the Aerospace/Automotive Industry in a similar role.
* Apprentice trained preferred ordemonstratedrelevant experience.
* Working to production timelines in a manufacturing environment.
* Working with SOPs and Company specific documentation.
* Self-driven, results orientated, with a positive outlook.
* Able to get on with others and be a team-player.
* Attention to detail and accuracyat all times.
* Working to deadlines.
* Managing workload effectively, prioritising where necessary.
