Our client - a bespoke metal fabrication workshop with a sister atelier - creates exceptional products across residential, commercial and the marine sectors, including custom furniture, sculptural lighting, and architectural features.
They are seeking a Production and Quality Engineer to support their Hampshire workshop with visits (all expenses paid) to their London site. This is a hands-on, varied role ideal for someone passionate about craftsmanship, quality and continuous improvement. You'll also be instrumental in maintaining their Quality Management Systems (QMS), improving production efficiency and embedding best practice.
Key Responsibilities are to:
Support and develop Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Write and maintain SOPs and work instructions
Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR's) and Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA's)
Conduct inspections and drive lean continuous improvement initiatives
Work closely with craftspeople to champion quality and efficiency
What the Production and Quality Engineer will need:
Experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment as an engineer
Strong QMS knowledge with ISO 9001 familiarity a plus
Confidence in managing quality documentation and processes
A proactive, solutions-driven mindset
Happy and capable of carrying out quality inspections
