Salary & Hours
• GBP 31,000 – 35,000 per annum, Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, 8am – 4.30pm
• GBP 36,000 – 40,000 per annum, Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, 7am – 4.30pm

Mobile Vehicle Technician role available in a highly successful and international manufacturer of forklift trucks. This is an ideal role for those seeking a new industry in a field‑based role.
Part of a team, you will be responsible for carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and breakdown services on a range of forklifts in Norwich and Ipswich, typically within an hour of your home location. No long travel or overnight stays are required. Overtime is available mainly during the week.
Role in Brief
* Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery on a field‑service engineering basis.
* Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area.
* Complete comprehensive training to become fully competent on all machinery and equipment.
* Place spares in van overnight.
Requirements
* Experience with plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment; automotive technicians/motor trade also suitable.
* Engine diagnostics and basic electrical skills.
* Ideally holding a Level 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject.
