Key duties of the Vehicle Technician role:
7. Carry out diagnostic, repair, and servicing work to manufacturer standards
8. Conduct EV repairs and hydraulic work (if qualified) efficiently and safely
9. Use advanced diagnostic tools and software to identify complex faults
10. Ensure all work is completed to high standards of quality and safety
11. Assist and mentor apprentice technicians to support their development
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician position:
12. Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
13. Recognised Diagnostic qualification (desirable but not essential)
14. Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic is advantageous
15. Strong teamwork skills with attention to detail and safety procedures
16. Desire to develop your skills further with manufacturer-led training, particularly in EV technology
