We are working with a fantastic Derby City provision that supports pupils who require a more personalised, therapeutic approach to education. They are looking for a dedicated Primary Teacher to deliver engaging, creative lessons to small groups of learners who benefit from structure, patience, and a relational approach.
About the Role
* Delivering Primary-level lessons to small groups of SEND/SEMH pupils
* Planning and adapting learning to meet individual needs
* Creating a safe, calm, and consistent learning environment
* Working closely with support staff and the wider pastoral team
* Using a trauma-informed, relationship-based approach
* Supporting pupils to build confidence, resilience, and positive learning habits
About You
* QTS-qualified and Primary-trained
* Experience with SEND and/or SEMH is highly desirable
* Confident in adapting lessons and differentiating effectively
* Calm, patient, and able to build strong, trusting relationships
* Passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers to learning xxuwjjq
* Able to work as part of a supportive, committed team
