We are seeking a proactive and organised Training Coordinator to support our continuous improvement initiatives in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will develop, coordinate, and manage training programs that enhance employee skills, improve process efficiency, and support a culture of Lean thinking. This role is critical to ensuring that employees at all levels are properly trained in Lean principles, standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and job-specific skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and manage training programs aligned with Lean Manufacturing principles and company goals.
* Coordinate onboarding and job-specific training for new employees, ensuring rapid integration into production teams.
* Partner with department leads, and CI teams to identify training needs and skill gaps.
* Organise and facilitate Lean training workshops (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, SMED, Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping).
* Maintain and update training materials, manuals, and records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, observations, and feedback.
* Support cross-training and job rotation programs to increase workforce flexibility.
* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory training requirements.
* Maintain a training matrix and track completion and certification status across departments.
* Assist in the implementation and tracking of continuous improvement initiatives related to employee development.
Ideal Person:
* Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
* 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment; Lean Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
* Strong knowledge of Lean tools and concepts (5S, Kaizen, Standard Work, etc.).
* Experience in training coordination, instructional design, or facilitation.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and project management skills.
* Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and employees at all levels.
