I am currently recruiting for a number of roles for a Manufacturing client in Norfolk. Food Manufacturing. Please see details below.
1. Shift Engineer Multiskilled/Electrical X 2, £ 46 350 and working 6 to 6, 5 on 5 off days and nights.
Key Responsibilities:
2. Maintain and repair all production and process manufacturing equipment.
3. To undertake tasks in line with maintenance requisition requests.
4. To conduct PPM (planned preventative maintenance) tasks as required.
5. To prioritise workload in liaison with Engineering Manager, to provide the most effective maintenance service possible thus maximising production output.
6. Undertake On call duties as & when required by Engineering rota.
7. Must be a time-served Mechanical Engineer in a manufacturing / engineering
8. Self-motivated individual with ability to lead by example.
9. Good team player but can work on own when required.
10. Good timekeeper, flexible & willing to work out with normal hours, if required
11. Ensure area of responsibility housekeeping is of a high standard
12. Complete engineering projects as assigned by management
13. Actively engage with suppliers to improve service levels and reduce costs.
14. Ensure that all Quality Systems are followed.
15. Experience of working within a COMAH site a distinct advantage
The successful candidate will have:
16. Maintenance system skills preferably using electronic maintenance management systems. (CMMS) knowledge would be an advantage
17. HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering required (or equivalent)
18. Experience ideally gained over a period of 3+ years in FMCG and/or GMP environment
19. Knowledge of pneumatic circuits
20. Demonstratable fault finding skills
21. Electrical controls knowledge - plc's, invertors etc would be advantageous
22. Flexible and adaptable approach to work to meet business requirements
23. Ability to work shifts
24. Health and Safety knowledge
25. Full, clean driving license
26. Needs to be able to work independently and safely with minimal guidance
27. Excellent communication and customer services skills
28. Uses Microsoft Office tools, PC literate
