Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and empathetic Social Worker to provide support, advocacy, and interventions for individuals and families facing social, emotional, or life challenges. The role involves assessing needs, developing care plans, and working collaboratively with other professionals to promote positive outcomes and safeguard vulnerable people.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ needs, risks, and strengths
* Develop and implement care/support plans tailored to individual circumstances
* Provide emotional support and crisis intervention
* Liaise with other agencies and professionals to coordinate services
* Advocate for clients’ rights and access to resources
* Maintain accurate and timely records in line with legal and organisational standards
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures
* Work on cases on CIN, CP, PLO and court statements.
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in Social Work
* Registration with Social Work England
* Experience working with vulnerable individuals or families
* Strong understanding of safeguarding, mental health, and social care systems
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
* Experience of working on CIN, CP, PLO and court cases
