I’m currently supporting a globally recognised organisation that’s making significant investment in its technology landscape. They’re looking for a senior technology sourcing leader to take ownership of a key spend area and help shape how it’s managed going forward.
This is a high-impact role. You won’t be managing a large team, but you will be operating at a senior level, influencing strategy, stakeholders and commercial outcomes.
Areas of focus:
* Owning and shaping Technology Services category strategy across a significant spend
* Leading complex sourcing activity and negotiations across cloud, managed services and key suppliers
* Working directly with senior stakeholders across technology and the wider business
* Driving commercial value, governance and risk management in a structured environment
* Influencing how the organisation approaches and optimises technology spend
Background and skills:
* Strong background in technology sourcing / category management (IT services is key)
* Comfortable operating in a large, complex organisation
* Confident influencing at a senior level without relying on hierarchy
* Strong commercial instinct, understands how deals are structured and negotiated
* Able to balance commercial outcomes with governance and control requirements
