Job Title: Machine Operator (Trainee Laser Operator)

Pay Rates: £14.00 - £14.75

We're looking for a hands-on machine operator from a steel background who is ready to learn something new and build a long-term career. You will be trained to set and operate both flatbed and tube lasers, working alongside experienced staff in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
Once fully trained, pay rates will increase significantly, making this a strong opportunity to upskill and improve your earnings.
Shift Pattern (Afternoons Only)
Monday - Thursday: 13:30 - 22:00
Friday: 13:30 - 19:00This role is suited to someone who prefers later starts and afternoon working.
Responsibilities
Learning to set and operate flatbed and tube laser machines
Inspecting finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
Operating an overhead crane
Reading and working from engineering drawings
Supporting production and developing technical skills
Requirements
Strong experience within the steel or manufacturing industry
Previous machine operating experience
Willingness to learn and progress into a setter role
Good attention to detail and work ethic
