The Role of Deputy Payroll Manager is to assist the Payroll Manager in the processing of a busy Payroll Department. This role will assist in overseeing payroll procedures, accurate payroll processing, maintaining payroll records, and acting as a point of contact for payroll-related inquiries. Qualification and Experience: 3rd level qualification: RQF level 6 - Degree or equivalent or Part -Qualified Accounting Technician (IATI) or Part qualified accountant with recognised accounting body e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA AND Minimum 3 year's specialist payroll experience managing large scale payroll for over 250 employees. OR RQF level 5 qualification AND Minimum of 5 years specialist payroll experience managing large scale payroll for over 250 employees. 2. Knowledge of statutory regulations around payroll & pensions including auto enrolment, sickness, maternity & other family leave. 3. Experience of statutory payroll returns incl. RTI, FPS etc. 4. Knowledge of pension regulatory requirements.
