The Role:
As a Psychology Graduate working in an Alternative Provision school, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health), and learning difficulties.
Assist teachers in delivering tailored lessons that promote engagement and progress.
Support pupils with social skills, communication, and emotional regulation throughout the school day.
Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment by encouraging independence and resilience.
Contribute to behaviour management strategies and personalised learning plans.
Work closely with teaching staff, SEN specialists, and therapists to provide holistic support for pupils.What We're Looking For:
A Psychology Graduate (or similar discipline) with a genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs.
Strong communication, patience, and empathy.
Ability to work proactively and adapt to different pupil needs.
Experience working with children (paid or voluntary) is desirable but not essential.What's on Offer:
