The Role
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our tenants with daily living tasks and encouraging their independence. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting with household tasks and routines
2. Providing personal care, including intimate care
3. Prompting or administering medication as required
4. Promoting a warm, respectful, and inclusive environment
Hours
5. 20 hours per week worked on a shift rota.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
6. Has strong communication skills, both verbal and written
7. Can work effectively on their own as well as part of a team
8. Is organised, punctual and reliable
9. Holds (or is willing to work towards) an SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care
10. Is able to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of starting
11. Experience in care is desirable but not essential – full training and support will be provided.
