We are looking to strengthen our Fleet Department with a Fleet Administrator (12 months Fixed term) based at Hattersley with hybrid working available.
You will report directly to the Senior Fleet Co-ordinator and your role will play an integral part of supporting and managing our busy fleet department including involvement in multiple projects. Key responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting day-to-day requirements with suppliers.
2. Maintaining driver records and ensuring accurate fleet information.
3. Providing cover for the Fleet team during periods of annual leave or absence.
4. Maximising fleet utilisation through effective reallocation and timely off-hire of surplus vehicles.
5. Arranging temporary hire vehicles as required.
6. Issuing fuel cards and monitoring usage to ensure compliance with policy.
7. Validating invoices and ensuring timely payment.
8. Administering traffic offences, accidents and insurance claims in line with statutory requirements, and minimising costs.
9. Supporting the occupational road risk programme for company, and driver-owned vehicles.
10. Compiling metrics and reports in Excel.
11. Providing fleet data to stakeholders to support effective fleet management.
12. Delivering a high level of customer service across the business.
13. Promoting a positive, solution-oriented approach, providing open and honest feedback.
14. Undertaking other duties, training, or working hours reasonably required, in line with the role’s level of responsibility.
15. Representing the department in a professional and positive manner, building constructive and mutually beneficial relationships.
16. Ensuring appropriate confidentiality is maintained in accordance with GDPR requirements.
