We are currently recruiting for a proactive and organised Science Technician to join the thriving Science Department of a well-established and highly regarded secondary school in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a genuine interest in science and strong practical skills to play a key role in supporting the delivery of engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics. The Role Working alongside teaching staff and the Lead Science Technician, your responsibilities will include: Preparing apparatus, materials and chemicals for practical science lessons Setting up and dismantling experiments in line with health and safety regulations Managing, maintaining and ordering laboratory stock and equipment Providing in-class support during practical sessions where required Ensuring laboratories are safe, tidy and fully compliant with current legislation Supporting risk assessments and the safe storage and handling of chemicals The School This Birmingham-based secondary school has a strong reputation within the local community for academic progress and inclusive education.
