Robert Half is delighted to be partnering with a growing business based in Bar Hill, Cambridge, to recruit a Part Time Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional seeking flexibility whilst still playing a key role in the finance function.
The Role
Working closely with the Managing Director, you will take responsibility for management accounts preparation, forecasting and budgeting, as well as supporting business decision-making through insightful financial analysis. You'll also provide financial controls and process improvements as the business continues its growth journey.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparation of monthly management accounts, variance analysis and reporting packs
Supporting the budgeting and forecasting cycle
Business partnering with operational teams to provide meaningful financial insight
Assisting with cashflow forecasting and balance sheet reconciliations
Driving process improvements and supporting audit requirements
Your Profile
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE with relevant experience
Proven background in management accounting and financial reporting
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
Confident communicator with the ability to partner non-finance stakeholders
Benefits
Competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 FTE
