Description Pupil Support Leader Queensferry High School Salary: £62,022 (Subject to job sizing) Hours: 35 per week QHS School Video - https://vimeo.com/759563018 We are seeking a full-time, permanent Pupil Support Leader to join our busy Pupil Support team. This is a six-year comprehensive school in the North West Locality of the City of Edinburgh Council. The catchment area of the school covers Queensferry, Dalmeny, Echline and Kirkliston Primary Schools, as well as St Margaret’s RC Primary School at parent/carer request. A few years ago we moved into our brand new school with excellent new resources and commanding views of the Forth Estuary (including the three bridges). The school roll is over 1,200 and rising. We have a strong ethos at Queensferry High School and are proud to create an atmosphere and learning environment which prepares young people with the knowledge and skills for a successful adult life. This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check.
