The Informatics service is looking for a full-time System Support Lead to join a dynamic team. Working within BCU, you will be responsible for assisting with the management, maintenance, testing, training, and user support of software solutions, as well as providing telephone support to all Informatics users. Roles include:
1. Assist, from a support perspective, with the requirements for new IT solutions and the enhancement of existing systems, providing support, advice, and guidance as appropriate.
2. Communicate complex information through various communication methods to all levels of staff, overcoming barriers to understanding to achieve positive outcomes.
3. Work closely with Programme / Informatics staff and all stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects within the Informatics portfolio.
4. Manage staff within your area of responsibility, including appraisals, sickness management, recruitment, and selection.
5. Analyze, investigate, and advise CPGs on potential solutions for their requirements.
6. Educated to Degree level or equivalent work experience and knowledge.
7. ILM Management qualification level 3 or equivalent experience.
8. Experience of implementing software in large, complex organizations.
9. Experience of working in large, complex organizations.
10. Experience in staff management, including team building, motivation, and development.
11. Participation in change management projects and process re-engineering.
12. Knowledge of relevant local and national strategies, and ability to incorporate them into your role.
13. Understanding of Clinical, Management, and Informatics processes.
14. Experience with financial procedures.
15. Proven ability to influence at all organizational levels.
16. Enthusiastic, committed, proactive, and innovative.
17. Desirable: Ability to speak Welsh. Applications in Welsh are welcome and will be treated equally.
18. The post may require travel across BCU locations.
