Positions 1 & 2: Sunday 06:00 - 08:00am & Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday 05:00 - 07:00am (8 hours per week)
Positions 3 & 4: Thursday / Friday 05:00 - 07:00am & Saturday 06:00 - 08:00 (6 hours per week)

Pay rate: £12.50

What you’ll be doing

As part of the Atlas Family, you’ll play a key role in preparing the spa and wellness areas for members at the start of the day, ensuring everything is clean, safe and welcoming before opening.

You’ll be inducted at the start of your contract, with Atlas providing full training within your first week. You’ll learn how to deliver the cleaning specification, safely use equipment, and communicate effectively with colleagues during shift handovers. We keep it simple and give you everything you need to succeed.

Your role will include:

* Delivering a high standard of cleaning in spa and wet-side areas, including changing rooms, showers, toilets, sauna and steam rooms, relaxation areas, corridors and reception spaces

* Preparing the spa environment to be member-ready for opening, with a strong focus on hygiene and presentation

* Handling site-based cleaning equipment and materials (full training provided)

* Replenishing consumables such as paper towels, soap, toilet paper and bin liners

* Emptying waste and recycling in line with site procedures

* Ensuring cleaning is completed to the highest standards at all times, particularly in wet and high-use areas

* Maintaining Health and Safety standards at all times – Atlas will ensure you’re fully prepared and confident in what to look out for

* Working as part of a supportive team that goes the extra mile

4. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of hygiene, discretion and attention to detail in a spa environment.

Ideally, you will:

* Be compassionate, reliable and quick to act when it comes to hygienic safety

* Enjoy early starts and working independently or as part of a small team

* Be based locally and enjoy being part of an active, health-focused community

* Take pride in creating calm, clean and welcoming spaces

All you need is:

* A positive attitude and ideally some cleaning experience (although full training is provided if you share our thoughtful and proactive approach)

* The ability to carry out the physical aspects of the role in spa and leisure environments

* A basic level of spoken English for health and safety communication and confidence when onsite

* Good social skills to fit into the David Lloyd Leisure community and enhance members’ experience

* The right to work in the UK (please bring evidence to interview)
