An opportunity has arisen within the Medical Workforce team for a Medical Workforce advisor role at the Bedford site.
The post holder will support the Medical Workforce team and assist the Deputy Head of Medical Workforce and Medical Workforce Team Leader in all aspects of the Medical Workforce service.
Main duties of the job
To provide effective support to the Medical Workforce Team and ensure the provision of an efficient, effective and professional Medical HR service across areas designated by the Deputy Head and Head of Medical Workforce which meets quality and timeframes agreed.
The postholder will work closely with colleagues in the Clinical Service lines, giving expert advice to Clinical Leads and General Managers on Medical Workforce recruitment and Medical terms and conditions.
Attend meetings in relation to Medical Workforce when required to support designated clinical services, including leading on the establishment tracker meetings.
Highlight areas for innovative recruitment processes to the Deputy Head of Medical Workforce and Medical Workforce Team Leader.
Make best use of the TRAC recruitment system and support the Medical Workforce administrators.
Support the Medical Workforce administrators in their areas of recruitment and rota design, ensuring they follow the correct contract rules and guidance for any changes.
To deal with all enquiries in respect of resident and trust Medical Workforce recruitment and terms and conditions, escalating to the Medical Workforce Team Leader, when required.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Minimum of 5 GCSE (C or above) or equivalent experience
2. Awareness of current Medical & Dental Terms & Conditions and relevant legislation
3. Willingness to learn via electronic and face to face courses/attend courses

4. CIPD qualified or equivalent experience

6. Knowledge of medical rota design and implications on non-compliant patterns
7. Computer literate
