Responsibilities
* Plan, Design and Implement network solutions to meet customer business requirements.
* Be a Technical Lead for delivery of customer network projects.
* Ensure Change Control and other mandatory processes are adhered to.
* Ensure all work is risk‑assessed with the production and maintenance of H&S compliant documentation (RAMs and Point of Works Risk Assessment).
* Where required undertake hands‑on build activity to stage, commission and install new network equipment.
* Produce customer site and solution network documentation.
* Monitor progress of activities within each project; providing regular updates to management and key stakeholders.
* Management and coordination of 3rd party suppliers.
* Provide technical support and assistance to pre‑sales activity.
* Ensure technical knowledge is kept up to date and make recommendations to changes in customer technical standards.
* Work co‑operatively with team members and colleagues, contributing positively and constructively to the achievement of team and organisational objectives.

* Load Balancers
* F5 BIG‑IP iSeries
* Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS)
* Cisco 6248UP Fabric Interconnect
* Security
* Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
* Cisco Meraki MX
* SDWAN and software defined networks.
* Have practical and theoretical experience of routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP.
Who you are
* Have experience of working with (configuring and implementing) predominantly Cisco and Meraki LAN and WLAN solutions in an enterprise environment.
* Have extensive field experience including cabling and installation of networking equipment.
* Be a self‑motivated individual with the ability to develop strong customer relationships as well as functioning in a team environment.
* Full SC Security Clearance or the ability to obtain.
* Project Management experience is advantageous.
* Experience of working in a construction environment (including CCNSG Certification) is desired but not mandatory.
