About this job
As an MR radiology assistant you will be working with our radiographers in the MR scanning department, ensuring exceptional support for our patients before, during and after their MR Scan. The role involves caring for patients, placing and removing intravenous cannulas, ensuring all consumables are available throughout the day, keeping the area clean and tidy, and providing additional support to patients who need it during the scanning process.
You will be expected to work flexibly, including weekends, and may need to do additional hours to cover for colleagues on leave. Full training in cannulation techniques and all other aspects of the role will be provided to successful applicants.
Responsibilities
* Caring for patients before, during and after MR scans
* Placing and removing intravenous cannulas
* Ensuring consumables are available throughout the day
* Maintaining a clean and tidy area
* Providing additional support to patients who require it during the scanning process
* Working flexibly, including weekends and covering for colleagues on leave
Qualifications
* Demonstrated caring demeanor, well organised and prepared to work hard
* Willingness to undertake full training required for the role
