SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Worthing | Full Time / Part Time | Contract: Permanent / Long Term | Term: Time Only
Are you a compassionate individual dedicated to helping children with special educational needs? Randstad Education is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a partner school. This is a rewarding chance to provide consistent, caring support to students throughout their education.
The Role
* Offer one‑to‑one and small group support to children with various needs, such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties.
* Help carry out Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Work with the class teacher and SENCO to provide personalised learning.
* Encourage students to develop confidence, social skills, and emotional control.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning space.
Requirements
* Experience with children with SEN (either in a school or care environment).
* A patient, nurturing, and flexible attitude.
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
* A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or the willingness for one).
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE, Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are a plus.
