On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Test Technician to join them on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration and Test Manager, the role holder will be responsible for testing the portfolio of products. This will include the scheduling conducting and writing up testing activities as detailed in the test procedures. Role: Test Technician Pay: Competitive Location: Harwell, Oxfordshire Hours: Monday- Friday, 37.5 hrs/ week Status: Permanent Security Clearance: BPSS Key Responsibilities Work with our Test Engineer and MAIT team across our product portfolio to test products for mechanical and thermal sub-system and system level functionality, safety, capabilities, compliance and performance Conduct electrical, RF, mechanical, thermal, thermal vacuum and vibration testing in accordance with the test protocol created by the Chief Engineering team. Responsible for preparing and conducting prescribed tests Assemble test setups, thermal, mechanical, RF and electronic/electrical, Responsible for the safe operation of the test equipment and hardware.
