Main duties of the job
You will take a considered, thoughtful and reflective approach toward supporting an individual in their recovery journey, develop and carry through a person’s care plan, communicate effectively with multiple agencies (including secondary care teams, GPs, friends and family), provide a range of interventions during acute mental health crises, and connect individuals to community resources.

We are recruiting a Mental Health Crisis Worker to join our Crisis Team, based at Gloucester House, Southmead, as part of the Bristol Mental Health Partnership in collaboration with the Avon and Wiltshire Partnership Trust.
Person Specification
Experience
* Experience working with people with mental health needs.
* Experience working with people with complex needs.
* Proven experience working with people who have multiple needs (e.g., mental health, homelessness, alcohol/drug dependency, long‑term conditions).
* Proven experience carrying out needs and/or risk assessments and the support planning process.
* Experience working with a number of individuals who have competing needs and priorities.
* Proven experience with mental health issues and/or services, either as a user, carer or supporter.
* Years of relevant experience.
