Credit Controller (12 month FTC) - Leeds role at Squire Patton Boggs
We are looking for a Credit Controller to join our global Finance team in Leeds on a 12-month fixed term basis. If you have previous Credit Control experience, this could be the role for you.
Responsibilities
* Manage own ledger and achieve targets and KPI/reporting metrics for the team.
* Support Partners and Fee Earners in managing ongoing client relationships and timely cash collections.
* Monitor credit collection processes and provide reporting/support to the Director of Inventory/Asset Control and other senior members of the wider finance team.
* Work as part of a team but you will have responsibility for your own ledger; some travel to other UK locations may be required.
* Maintain professional and courteous conduct at all times, including in conflict situations.
* Working hours are 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday; flexibility is required.
What You Will Need
* Undergraduate qualification (including Mathematics) or equivalent; further education desirable.
* Minimum of two years' experience in a similar Credit Control role, preferably in a professional services environment.
* Strong understanding of debt recovery and VAT and its practical application.
* Good IT skills with desktop and Microsoft packages (Word and Excel) and exposure to credit control software.
