TSA Surveying are currently working in partnership with a leading building services consultancy, who are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their London building services design team. You will play a key role in the design and delivery of major building projects, working closely with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative, energy-efficient electrical solutions.
As part of the role, you will:
* Contribute to design strategy and conceptual electrical design for a wide range of projects
* Undertake detailed electrical design calculations and technical analysis
* Produce electrical design drawings, schematics, specifications, and schedules
* Ensure designs comply with current British Standards, Building Regulations, and sustainability requirements
* Deliver low-energy, low-carbon electrical solutions
* Lead and coordinate M&E project teams through all stages of project delivery
* Attend client and design team meetings, managing relationships and interpreting project briefs
* Review and check the work of other engineers and support quality assurance processes
* Mentor and support junior engineers and trainees within the team
* Participate in peer reviews and contribute to continuous technical improvement
* Support sustainability initiatives and environmental objectives across the business
The successful candidate will:
* Have experience operating at Senior Electrical xsngvjr Engineer level within building services consultancy
* Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
* Be Chartered or actively working towards Chartered Engineer status
* Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of electrical building services systems
* Have excellent communication and leadership skills
* Be able to manage multiple projects and coordinate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
