About The Role
The Department of Computer Science at the University of Bath is seeking a highly motivated individual to support research in immersive technology, specifically VR and AR. The project focuses on developing novel immersive systems involving physiological sensing and physical activity, examining their effects on users. Responsibilities include coordinating research activities, data collection and analysis, contributing to publications, outreach, dissemination, and other impact activities.
The role involves working within a team of researchers dedicated to advancing VR/AR experiences, and collaborating with industrial and academic partners to ensure practical relevance and adoption of solutions.
Ideal Candidate
* Experience with immersive systems involving physiological sensing and physical activity
* Experience in research coordination, data collection and analysis
* Contributions to publications, outreach, and dissemination activities
